The Time Is Now for Spreading the Word
Ignite the movement. Make it impossible to ignore.
The No Kings Rally is coming up fast — this Saturday — and we’re relying on your help to spread the word this coming week.
The most powerful messages come from you. When people see familiar faces standing up for democracy, they’re more likely to show up too.
HELENA NO KINGS RALLY
Saturday, October 18
Noon to 1 at the Capitol

How You Can Help
1. Record a short video
Say why you’re showing up (guidance below) — post to your socials and tag @IndivisibleHelena , or text it to (406) 282-1627, and we will share it for you. Here’s a Social Sharing Toolkit for guidance to help you.
EXAMPLES OF WHAT TO SAY
- “I’m showing up for our democracy.”
- “I’m tired of corruption — and I’m ready to stand up.”
- “I’m going because my voice matters.”
Or make it funny, joyful, or heartfelt — it’s all good!

WHEN TO POST OR SEND YOUR VIDEO
Anytime this week is great — the sooner, the better! We’re building momentum all week leading up to the No Kings Rally. If you can, post or text your video between today and Thursday so we can share and feature it before rally day.
If you record it later — even the morning of the rally — that’s still perfect! Authenticity always beats timing
2. Invite three friends
Encourage people you know to join you on at the rally. Remember strength in numbers!
3. Sign a Petition to Protect
Our petition demands our congressional delegation and Governor Gianforte protect everyone’s constitutional rights and principles of democracy. We will be taking signatures at the Oct. 18 No Kings rally, but you can be among the first to sign by clicking here.

A note from Ashley Moon, who is helping get our socials on track
Some of you may have marched, organized, voted, and built community long before social media existed — and that same spirit of courage and creativity still matters today.
For some of you, we may be asking you to try something new: to show up online with the same conviction you’ve always shown in person.
You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t even need to know what a “Reel” or a “duet” is (we promise, it’s not music theory). What matters is your voice — your story, your face, your belief that democracy is worth showing up for.
So take a deep breath. Grab your phone. Hit record. Laugh if it feels awkward (we all do). You might surprise yourself — and you might inspire someone else to say, “If they can do it, so can I.”
Let this be a small act of rebellion, curiosity, and joy. If you are learning something new, that is one of the most radical things any of us can do.

Be brave. Be playful. Be real. And remember: you can’t mess this up.
