We’ll Stand Up, We’ll Stand Together
Saturday, October 18
Noon to 1 p.m. — The Capitol
Defending democracy takes courage — and courage is contagious. In June, more than five million people filled the streets in 2,100 cities and towns for the first No Kings march. On Oct. 18, we gather again at the Capitol, joining a movement that will be even bigger, louder, and impossible to ignore in Washington, D.C.
We need this NO KINGS to be stronger than the first. Bring longtime friends, bring new ones, bring family. Let’s stand up, stand together, and show what united resistance looks like.
The program will mix solemn a cappella with high-energy dance music, stir thought and emotion, and call each of us to a specific action. Every element is designed to strengthen our common cause, give us hope, and fuel the courage to keep defending, restoring, and improving our democracy.
Register at mobilize.us/nokings/event/839523. Registration helps organizers prepare for the crowd, share important updates, and build the network we’ll need to keep this movement growing. Now is the time to turn shared courage into unstoppable momentum — proving that when we stand together, our strength spreads, and our democracy endures.
Join us at the Capitol for No Kings
October 18, Noon – 1 p.m.
Note: A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Membership Meeting
Wednesday October 1, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Meeting place: Basement, the Livestock Building — the building with the Women’s Mural, across Broadway from The Base Camp, 2 N Last Chance Gulch. The entrance faces north towards the Double Tree Hotel (we did the NO KINGS sign painting there). Go down the stairs, and turn right.
Come get latest updates on the No Kings Rally, and learn what tasks need volunteers. We’ll have a short presentation on the structure and components of Indivisible Helena and a discussion on how you can help form and guide the organization and be part of the decision-making process. We need ideas about actions, goals, expanding the Steering Committee, and making IH transparent and democratic.
Nothing is better than meeting comrades face-to-face. Courage is contagious, and so is energy!
Call for Volunteers: We’ll need volunteers before, during, and after the rally, so please come to the membership meeting prepared to sign up, to help make the NO KINGS rally an event to remember. Most important, the BIG TASK is for members to bring friends to the rally.
We must grow the resistance!

Jeff, former Commissioner of Political Practices for the state of Montana, is leading an extremely important effort to get an initiative on the state ballot for November 2026, which would essentially nullify Citizens United in Montana and prevent dark money (corporate big donations) from contributing to Montana political campaigns.
Come find out more about how we can possibly take our democracy out of the hands of the billionaires. Former Governor Marc Racicot will also speak at this event.
