Stand in Solidarity for
Helena Pride, Saturday, August 2

Indivisible Helena (IH) will stand in solidarity with others resisting Trump and the MAGA agenda during Pride events on Saturday, August 2. IH members will march in the Helena Pride Parade, which begins at 3 p.m. on Placer Street near the Post Office. We’ll assemble starting at 2 p.m.: look for the IH banner. Let your American and Pride flags fly—proudly!
The parade ends at Anchor Park, where an Educational Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring many progressive Helena organizations. The forecast calls for sunny weather, so come join in the fun!
Prior to the parade, the Lewis & Clark County Democrats will host a Pride and Politics Panel Discussion, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the large conference room. The panel will include Democratic Party leadership, legislators, and staffers.
Be Part of the One Million Rising
Right Here in Helena
Join Indivisible Helena on Wednesday, July 30 at 6 p.m. in the large conference room at the Lewis and Clark Library for a live-streamed national training session: “How To Make It Happen.” This is the second in the three-part One Million Rising series, created by Indivisible to train one million people in strategic, non-violent resistance.
These are actionable trainings — not just inspiration, but a roadmap for building people power in your own community. In the first session, participants studied the authoritarian playbook, learned from past resistance movements, and were called to host a Community Resistance Gathering with 10 or more friends, family, or neighbors. Thousands across the country have already committed.
The next session will show you exactly how to host one — and how these small, local conversations become a powerful force against authoritarianism. Whether you’re ready to lead a gathering or just want to better understand the strategy behind non-cooperation, this training offers a clear next step.
If you want to register to watch the remaining Million Rising trainings from the comfort of home via Zoom, you can register here:

A Sign of the Times:
NO KINGS!

Did you miss out on getting a NO KINGS sign in June? Good news — we’re printing more! Thanks to your support, IH will soon have a new batch of window signs (one-sided, 20” x 16”) and two-sided yard signs.
If you or your friends would like one, email indivisiblehelena@gmail.com with your name, street address, and cell number. We want to see NO KINGS signs across the Helena area. We’re thrilled so many people have kept their signs up since the rally — that was the point. Until our democracy is safe, keep them up. And if you don’t have one yet, now’s the time to get one.
These signs aren’t cheap — and neither is the work of resistance. IH is an all-volunteer effort, and we rely on donations to cover the real costs of activism: meeting space rentals, website maintenance, email communications, printing, transportation, and yes, more yard signs.
If you’d like to help, please donate via this link to the Indivisible Helena ActBlue donation portal or use the QR code below. Your information will remain private — neither IH nor ActBlue shares or sells personal data.
Your support helps us push back. Together, we’ll make sure the U.S. has NO KING.

Assuming most states continue to hold free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028, a vigorous debate is underway in the national press (at least where pro-democracy perspectives are still given space) about how best to counter rising authoritarianism and the conditions that fuel it.
The articles cited here make the case for broadening appeals to constituencies recently lost to MAGA — and essential to any strategy that aims to strengthen and expand democracy.
