Our Strength
Will Not Be Denied

Excitement is building as we approach March 28th and the third No Kings Rally.
Indivisible Helena and our rally partners — ACLU Montana, Sewing Circle, Waking Giant, Big Sky 55+, MEIC, Moms Demand Action for Gun Safety, Hands on Global—are focused on the promotion, the program, and the production of this community protest against the assault on our norms, laws and Constitution by the current administration.
We are beyond pleased to announce our rally emcee and speakers:
Helena’s well-known activist and small-business owner, Chelsia Rice, will be our No Kings 3 emcee, guiding the event from beginning to end. Chris La Tray, last year’s Montana Poet Laureate, is our honored guest, bringing his storytelling prowess to lift and inspire. Attorney Raph Graybill who tirelessly works to protect our rights to vote and to have free and fair elections in Montana, will bring news of those efforts, as well as suggest actions we can take to protect the vote—the cornerstone of our democracy.
There will be a time to identify our partners and other groups that are working shoulder to shoulder in our greater community to protect democracy, support our community members, stay informed on actions, and find ways to resist the authoritarian regime’s current and future plans to curtail our freedoms.
Come at 11:30 to hear new and old protest songs, woven together with other upbeat vibes by the talented and generous DJ Anatomy. Toward the end of the program, prepare for an uplifting time with a chorus of local singers. There will be chanting, invitations to gather in strength and solidarity, and opportunities to take new action. We hope that as you make your way home after this gathering, you will be refueled, equipped, and inspired to stay connected with your kin in this resistance, and bring others to it.
Because we will not have a permit, we cannot supply chairs. Bring a lawn chair for yourself or for someone who may need to take a break from standing. Nothing can be poked into the grass (let’s not be puncturing irrigation lines). Partners will be circulating an information booklet produced by Waking Giant, that will include descriptions of organizations across our community that work to protect democracy, provide mutual aid, support immigration rights, and offer ways to find your communities of activism in these challenging times.
To sign up, please email Indivisiblehelena@gmail.com with “Crowd Support, Attn: Barb” in the subject line. THANK YOU!
Reminder: this is a non-violent, property-respecting gathering. We will have public safety support from the Montana Highway Patrol, as at other rallies, and have contracted off-duty Helena Police Department officers. We will also have robust trained crowd support volunteers. We gather on the Capitol grounds, on the grass facing 6th Ave next to Montana Avenue.
NO KINGS • NO FEAR • NO SILENCE

State Changes Rules for Weekend Events on Capitol Grounds
Daily Montanan
March 13, 2026
A new state policy restricts permitted events on Montana Capitol grounds to weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., citing cost savings and use of taxpayer-funded resources. While unpermitted gatherings can still occur on weekends, events requiring equipment, staffing, or setup must now meet stricter rules.
Organizers of the No Kings rallies plan to proceed with adjustments, though they warn the change limits accessibility and complicates logistics for large public demonstrations.

Do No Harm (Terms and Conditions May Apply)
The Drey Dossier
March 18, 2026
Audrey Henson traces how corporate control of Medicare, Medicaid, and hospital records—enabled by outdated HIPAA rules—has turned personal health data into a powerful, largely unregulated asset. As war dominates headlines and attention, major decisions about your data move forward with little scrutiny—she connects the dots and offers a clear action to demand transparency and protect yourself.
