On this Memorial Day, let us honor the sacrifices that many in uniform have endured to protect freedom and democracy in America in the 250th anniversary year of our republic’s birth. We salute you and your service!

1. Raise a Ruckus!
Indivisible Helena wants you and your passion for saving our country from the billionaires and would-be kings to join us for the Indivisible Helena Membership Meeting. Come discuss our course forward—getting people to the No Kings Rally on 6/14, planning direct actions at electeds’ offices, town hall/educations, and ??. We want to hear your ideas, concerns and energy. Let’s talk about how to grow the resistance movement in our community.

We need volunteers to help put on the No Kings rally—from sign making to posting flyers far and wide to leafleting at the Governor’s Cup finish before the rally, and so much more. Come prepared to choose your resistance effort.

2. Montana Speaks
Our Republican legislators are not listening! Let’s show them we are tired of not having a voice! We want to be heard loud and clear!
Montana Speaks is a Town Hall at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center, May 30th at 7 pm. All of Montana’s current federal office holders have been invited. Let your voice be heard: RSVP (no donation required)!
3. We Declare Independence AGAIN: “No Kings!”
Preparations for Indivisible Helena’s No Kings Rally on Flag Day, noon on June 14 at the state capitol, are in full swing. Please RSVP at to ensure you get the latest program updates in your inbox. Make plans now to bring a sign, an American flag, and your friends and neighbors. Let’s show the Trump administration that their destruction of our democracy will not stand! And be sure to volunteer to make this the most powerful rally possible at our membership meeting (see above) or email us at indivisiblehelena@gmail.com.

Congressmen Zinke and Downing probably did not know (or even care) about all the devastating effects that Trump’s Big Billionaire Bill would have on everyday Montanan’s lives. But they sure knew that they and their billionaire buddies would get a huge tax cut:

Now that this big bad bill has passed from the House to the Senate, there’s all the more reason to let Senators Daines and Sheehy know all the reasons that they should not support any of the severe cuts in public services provided to Montanans just to make their billionaire buddies (not to mention them, or maybe you should) even richer!
